Norman Margolus and Tommaso Toffoli coined ‘computronium’ for any “programmable matter”.

……………………………………..

‘Computronium’ is a theoretical arrangement of matter that is computationally  most capable for that amount of matter. Our consciousness might be a sort of ‘instant computronium state’ of our co-ordinated body. It is not binary but varies within range allowed by Tegmarkian network -the fundamental censorship constraining chaos as well as  abracadabra.

According to Max Tegmark, consciousness  might just be a state of matter, like a solid, a liquid or a gas. Just like  liquids, there might be many types of consciousness.

……………………………………..

Each instance of consciousness is a unified and indivisible whole that might  emerge from sophisticated computing materials. As a material state, a computer should be called ‘computronium or a brain ‘perceptronium’. After long Darwinian struggle, a gaseous state of matter (hydrogen)  has evolved into a peceptronium state of matter.

A conscious system  stores, processes and retrieves  information to memetically build a part of existential reality.

Any substance  floods in its liquid state , blows when gaseous, rolls when solid, computes when computronium and thinks when perceptronium. If Max Tegmark is right, consciousness is existentially a state of matter and ultimately a mathematical pattern.

Consciousness can be experienced  only from within.

We still don’t know how quantum mechanics is related to observation.

The masks(representatives /agents of conscious minds) that we wear are deeply unconscious.

The masks(representatives of conscious minds) that we wear are tools for adaptive evolution via natural selection.

The physical brain is the hardware, and the mind is the software.

According to modern science, truly sentient beings with fundamental sense of identity or agency don’t exist.

According to modern science, being-ness is a musk, an evolutionary tool.
…………………………………………
Being-ness is the mere linguistic translation of adaptive manipulation of information encrypted in neurons or DNA.

…………………………………………
It might be evolutionarily disadvantageous to watch our natural, organic natures.

The illusion of ‘doer’ evolved because a particular brain structure (i.e. meme complex) acts mostly in the same way. Symbiotic memes take on the illusion of ‘agent’ for adjustment. United they stand as mind, divided they fall as soliloquies.

When a pig’s brain perfused with lethal glutaraldehyde before being frozen at –135°C was warmed up, it got alive again.

Whether directly or online , we interact with the world and tell others  about ourselves. This output stream constitutes who/what I am.
…………………………………………

According to a modern synthetic philosopher Daniel Dennett, a person is “an ape infested with memes”.

…………………………………………
CONSCIOUSNESS might be the ability of a system to be influenced by its previous state and to influence its next state.

The SELF, a meme-complex , extends its own boundaries under the spell of creative and altruistic memes.

An extremely elaborate braid through spacetime might correspond to our self-awareness. …………………………………………
Water takes the forms of containers it is poured into. We should enjoy pouring our consciousness  into varying perspectives.
